Age to Go Home?
Our moms wean kittens by 6 weeks, same time the kittens are eating canned food. Weight loss trying to feed 6 week old kittens is not good for the moms, and they clearly show it to their kittens they are done. They visit often, but do not allow nursing. Kittens are weaned, litter box trained, vaccinated, eating food hard and canned, and drinking by 10 weeks.
